Bio

I’m a photographer & videographer from South Jamaica, Queens, NY.

I fell in love with the camera as a street photographer, heavily inspired by my brother beginning the same pursuit several years prior. What I appreciated most about the work he shot was his ability to take seemingly mundane views & objects and capture them in a way that inspired curiosity. I began shooting photos on my cell phone on walks home, training my newfound eye and searching for my own perspective. After enough time spent capturing pictures alone, my brother recognized true passion within me and gifted me one of his cameras so I could take things a step further.

That gift sparked my lifelong journey as a student of the camera. Skipping homework to learn the rules of photography and study the works of Henri Cartier-Bresson quickly snowballed into me assisting other photographers to learn from their process as well. Months of bombarding my social media feeds with photos would eventually lead people to seek me out to run shoots of my own. The moment I received my first bit of money for my work, which I felt nothing but joy creating, I knew that this is what I needed the rest of my career to look like.

Shooting music videos in my neighborhood and photographing school events has since evolved into working with global brands like Amazon, Essence, NASDAQ, and L’Oreal. I am eternally grateful for the opportunities that working within my passion has afforded me. The bulk of my recent work has been fashion, commercial, and portraits, but I always make sure to leave myself time for street photography. Those photo walks train my eye and refresh my perspective in a way that will continue to fuel my inquisitive mind ad infinitum.
